Costume Swap Party IdeasHalloween is right around the corner. My son starts planning his costume for the next year on Halloween!  We usually go through dozens of ideas before deciding on something right before Halloween.

It is so fun to watch kids get dressed up and tap into their imaginations.  Costumes, however, can be super expensive.  This year we’re going to do a costume swap party and you can too.

Get all your friends together and have them bring all of their old costumes.  Everyone gets to pick one costume at a time until they’ve all been picked through.  Anything left over can be donated or the original owner can take them back.  I’m excited about this because it will save us money, get us for a couple sizes up and items we can use for play time.

Your kids will love playing with their friends- you could even have some Halloween crafts and snacks to keep them occupied.  And you’ll love getting costumes taken care of without having to leave home!
